Chloe Bag Serial Numbers

I recently purchased a Chloe Paddington bag and whilst i'm pretty sure its original (it was an eBay purchase) i'm not sure. There seems to be a serial number but its on the tag as opposed to anywhere else. Where abouts would the serial number be if it was an original Chloe bag? I know you take risks on. Best Answer: I have an authentic chloe bag purchased from Bergdorf Goodman in NY in January. Authenticity: There is a SERIAL NUMBER inside on the left side of the bag in light brown leather (My bag is the blue color).

The zippers are in silver. The lock and key is Brass and NOT GOLD. On both sides of the bag chloe is written on the brass buckle that expands the bag, however on the right side the chloe is written on top and on the left side, chloe is written underneath the buckle. The key to the lock has chloe written on it as well.

Since my bag is blue it is sewn with the same shade of light blue thread and inside of the bag is a cream linen material type color. This really is a must read guide! Most Chloe Paddington's on ebay are fake, personally I would save up and buy one from a reputable shop. But if you are looking to pick up a second-hand one cheaply or are hoping to buy a 'good' replica here are the things to look out for: The Padlock and Key This is the quickest and easiest way to spot a fake.

The most obvious is the font size of 'Chloe' on the padlock, it should be very small and centred on the leather band. The leather band will have four small studs on the back of the padlock.
